Working on her Pattern

Her sheep wool hair makes me giggle!
My Godmother asked me to create her as a gift for her granddaughter and I really love the way she came alive. It had been awhile since I'd done a round head primitive doll. Needle felting the hair is always so much fun and actually quite relaxing to work on.

Her pattern is being worked on right now :)

The Idea Expands...........to another

So now I seem to be wanting to create EVERYTHING with a round 3d effect. I have been sketching like a mad woman in my journal. Some things worked out....some were crumbled and tossed in the trash.

I happened to mention to some friends the idea I was looking for and they pointed me in the right direction........ to Tonya...... who had worked it all out for me already! LOL

Another Round Head Doll

This little gal was my next attempt and I had just as much fun! She has painted eyes and fabric eyelids. I had some wonderful red dyed sheeps wool and it just made her pop!

She is SOLD and will be going to Texas to live.Along with 5 others that the lady has asked me to create for her. I will share pics of them as they get finished up.

I had so much fun creating her! Its quite exciting to create something new and fresh. I hand painted her eyes. I even gave her eyelids! Sheeps wool was needlefelted for her hair.
