Envelope Art

Have been catching up with some friends thru hand written letters. Email has its place but nothing beats the excitement of going to the mailbox and finding a real letter inside from a friend. I wanted my friends to know it was something fun so I took my pencil crayons with me when I worked last at the Theme Park. I spent the day drawing things on the envelopes and coloring. It was really fun and I had a great time coming up with ideas to draw. I did these that I'm showing plus an array of silly farm animals and other things.
You never know....maybe one of these envelopes will be appearing in YOUR mailbox!
Enjoy!

The talent never ceases to amaze me!!! Those drawings are adorable!!! I could easily imagine them in a childrens book....seriously.....i think you should check out illustrating for books. :) OOOOOHHHH better yet! Write your own little story with the illustrations and then i'm seeing a matching dolly that goes with it!!!! :) Come on....i know that brain of yours is brainstorming now!! LOL

Love your envelopes, Cedara! I used to draw on envelopes all the time....anything white is a blank canvas to me that is just begging for artwork! Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, by Danny Kaye: Life is a gret big canvas, throw all the paint on it you can!

LOVE your artwork. And I agree with "aunt deedee", you should consider writing a children's book and do the ilustrations!!

The artwork is wonderful!!!
