Working on her Pattern

Her sheep wool hair makes me giggle!
My Godmother asked me to create her as a gift for her granddaughter and I really love the way she came alive. It had been awhile since I'd done a round head primitive doll. Needle felting the hair is always so much fun and actually quite relaxing to work on.

Her pattern is being worked on right now :)

Little Bit Rusty

Another of the newest primitive dolls that I've made for my display at Upper Clements. She sort of came to life slowly. I was moving some things around and found my jar of rusty nails. Hadn't done any dolls in awhile with a nail nose so gave her one. Which then lead to a rusty bell for an eye and the X for the other.
Her hair was a bit tricky as nothing I was laying down seemed to work. I then laid 2 different spun wools next to her and POOF.....she totally finished in my mind. I am so pleased with how she came out.
Her sweet doll pattern will ready very soon!
Blessings!

Sunkissed Gold

One of the newest primitive dolls that can be found at Upper Clements in my display. The spun wool was wonderful to work with and she makes me smile.
I am busy working on her doll pattern right now!
Blessings!

New FAVORITE Doll Pattern

I got this little sweetheart from my doll guru Sherry of http://www.anniescupboards.com and I am madly in love with her.

Her hands are just the right shape and its so easy to make her. I think at last count, I'd drawn out and sewn 8 of this little lady so far.

I know that that seems like quite a few of the same gal.....but only a few are for my website and the others are going to be for the Craft Festival in July. I have to get crackin on that......I want dolls everywhere! LOL
